Product Details

ASIN TULTUL™ [ä-sin tʊl-tʊl] is a second rare salt from the Philippines recognized in the international catalogue of endangered heritage foodways by Slow Food Ark of Taste. It contains an infusion of coconut milk which modulates and counteracts the saltiness due to its natural properties. As a result, the flavor profile is a mild saltiness on the palate but is not overpowering, fronting a smokiness on the nose. Each bareta is unique, showcasing distinctive patterns similar to marble slab markings from quarries of old. A definitive ‘showpiece’ for tableside presentation; serve shaved using a micro plane to give any dish a “salt dusting”. Sold on allotment, check for availability. Jordan, Guimaras Island
