A variety of Capsicum frutescens aka Wild Rooster Chili #15 and once considered the hottest chili in the world. Commonly bright brick in color, it’s reminiscent of a beautiful Luzon sunset, this chili unbounds aromatics both floral and citrus notes preceded with vibrant heat which build in intensity. Unleashing 80,000 to 100,000 Scoville heat units on the palate, Siling Labuyo Chili was added to the Slow Food Arc of Taste in 2014 recognizing its endangered status. Siling Labuyo truly remains an iron fist in a velvet glove!
